Give a truly special gift - Home Portraits!
Recently, I was commissioned to draw a home portrait for a neighbor in East Harlem. This drawing was to be an anniversary gift for someone who spends hours nurturing the potted plants that adorn their shared front steps. After a few questions, some Google searching, and a couple of reference photos, I created a personalized portrait of their brownstone. The result? A unique keepsake that celebrated the beauty and memories tied to their home.
I delivered her two prints of the illustration, a high-res digital file, and two mini prints (because who doesn’t love something adorable in miniature?).
I’d been considering offering this service for some time, and when I was approached for this commission, it felt like a sign. So I’m officially offering a few custom home portrait commission spots! Whether it’s:
A gift for someone who just bought their dream home
A way to say goodbye to a beloved place
A charming memento of the bar where you had your first date
a personalized building portrait is a heartfelt way to preserve memories. I’ll work with you to create something special.
